Remarc uses AI and machine learning only where they reduce uncertainty, not where they introduce opacity.
We apply AI when:
- Patterns are behavioral, not deterministic
- Volume exceeds manual analysis
- Models can be validated against known outcomes
- Results can be explained in finance terms
We deliberately avoid AI when:
- Logic must be exact and auditable
- Human judgment is the primary value
- Automation would bypass necessary controls
- The model cannot be explained to leadership
There are no black boxes.
No autonomous decision-making.
No “AI theater.”
Every model is:
- Interpretable
- Testable
- Governed
- Presented alongside assumptions and limitations
